Our Story

HEMOPOW started with a dad, a garden hose, and a $60 inflatable slide that ripped after three uses. That dad spent the next weekend patching seams with duct tape and wondering why nobody built backyard inflatables with the same materials rental companies use. The answer was cost. Commercial-grade PVC tarpaulin costs three times more than standard Oxford fabric. Most manufacturers chose the cheaper option. Families paid the price in punctures, tears, and slides that lasted one summer.

In 2019, our founding team committed to a different approach. Two engineers, a materials scientist, and that frustrated dad pooled their expertise in Cedar Key, Florida, and started prototyping inflatable water slides using 15oz commercial-grade PVC tarpaulin. The first prototype weighed 40% more than competing products. It also survived 200 hours of continuous use without a single seam failure.

The flamingo design came from an accident. The first batch of PVC tarpaulin arrived in a vibrant pink that didn't match our original color specification. Rather than send it back, we built a flamingo-themed water slide. Kids at our first test event ignored every other inflatable in the yard and lined up for the pink flamingo. Parents photographed it for Instagram. The flamingo became our signature.

By 2021, HEMOPOW had expanded from one water slide to a full lineup of inflatable products. The 10-in-1 bounce house addressed parents who wanted year-round indoor play. The 16FT commercial bounce house filled demand from party rental businesses. The Seahorse slide gave smaller backyards an option that fit their space without compromising on build quality.

Every HEMOPOW product still ships with the blower, repair kit, ground stakes, and storage bag included. We saw too many competitors charge separately for the blower. A $300 inflatable that requires a $90 blower purchase isn't a $300 inflatable. We price transparently so families know exactly what they're spending.

Our materials testing lab in Cedar Key runs every PVC batch through 72-hour stress tests before approving it for production. We double-stitch every seam, reinforce every anchor point, and test every blower at full load. When a customer inflates a HEMOPOW product for the first time, the engineering behind that 3-minute setup represents months of testing.

HEMOPOW products have become backyard fixtures for over 10,000 families across the United States. Party rental operators run successful businesses with our commercial-grade equipment. Daycare centers trust our safety engineering for daily use. And kids across the country still line up for that pink flamingo.
